Unity Art Gallery 

The mission of the Unity Gallery is to cultivate dialogue on current social, political, cultural and community issues. Recognizing that the west side neighborhoods of Salt Lake City hold a wealth of diversity, pride and cultural knowledge, our vision for the gallery is to be the central gathering place for local art and culture on the west side. Our programming seeks to educate and inspire the wider SLC community and cultivate the pride and inclusiveness of our neighborhoods.   We work with local artists, community members and organizations to strengthen and enhance livability through community arts exhibitions and events.

In selecting artists and organizations to participate in Unity Gallery programming, we consider these core values:

Call for entries 

The Unity Gallery seeks entries that “engage and cultivate dialogue that explores and challenges current social, political, cultural issues with/within the community and the world.” All mediums will be considered, including drawing, photography, printmaking, sculpture, and mixed media.  Exhibits are chosen by a review committee according to the interests of the community, artistic quality, and incorporation of the Unity Gallery's mission. Accepted artists will be notified by phone or email.

 

Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis:
