FRIDAY, JULY 5 @ 5:30 PM
Roger (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) is a foster
child whose irresponsible father promises to get his
act together when Roger's favorite baseball team,
the California Angels, wins the pennant.
The problem is that the Angels are in last place, so
Roger prays for help to turn the team around. Sure
enough, his prayers are answered in the form of
angel
Al (Christopher Lloyd) and before you know it.....

FRIDAY, JULY 12 @ 5:30 PM
Jim
Morris (DENNIS QUAID) thought his dream was over.
He'd had his shot playing baseball, blew out his
shoulder, and retired without ever making it to the
big leagues and became the baseball coach and
chemistry teacher at the high school in Big
Lake,Texas.
But Coach Morris made a bet with his team that would
change everything. To motivate the team - perennial
losers - he accepted their challenge: if they won
the district championship, Morris would, in return,
try out for the Major Leagues.

G, 2 hours, 7 minutes.

FRIDAY, JULY 19 @5:30 PM
Iowa
farmer Ray Kinsella hears a voice in his corn field
tell him,
"If you build it, he will come."
He interprets this message as an instruction to
build a baseball field on his farm, upon which
appear the ghosts of Shoeless Joe Jackson and the
other seven Chicago White Sox players banned from
the game for throwing the 1919 World Series.
When the voices continue, Ray seeks out a reclusive
author to help him understand the meaning of the
messages and the purpose for his field.
Rated PG, 1 hour, 46 minutes.
