The Sorenson Unity Center
Community Gallery promotes the cultural vision of Salt Lake City
residents and the global community. The Community Gallery's
exhibits help build unity by celebrating cultural diversity and
identity. The gallery offers an opportunity for local artists,
community members and organizations to share their unique stories
with a wide audience.
|
Eligibility Guidelines |
The Community Gallery offers the
opportunity to exhibit a variety of works. Applicants are
invited to propose original, visually compelling exhibits
that support the Unity Center's mission: to serve as a
community resource and gathering place where all cultures
are celebrated and welcomed.
If selected, applicants are required to plan an educational
public program with the Unity Center Program Coordinator in
conjunction with the exhibit. Examples of such programs
include opening reception, panel discussion, workshop,
exhibit walk-through, or outreach to community groups or
schools.
